Swimsuit

It’s a pool party and the weather is scorching hot, we get it; but, girl, if you show up in a swimsuit that is just made of string, you’re limiting yourself. A better choice would be to go for a bikini or a one-piece that shows off your snatched figure—but lets you move and enjoy the party at the same time. 

This is your chance to experiment with silhouettes, prints, and cutouts, and encourage you to go all out. 

Cover Ups

Also (and this is super important), don’t forget to bring a cover-up, because you’re likely going to have to walk through the hotel lobby to get to the pool. Keep that hot summer bod covered up with a shawl or maxi dress until you reach the pool where you can flaunt what you got. If you happen to forget this little detail, staff may skrrt you in your tracks, as it’s against the rules to walk around the hotel or casino with just a bikini on. 

Shoes

Hip hop MVs are full of dancers wearing skimpy bikinis with sky-high heels on. While this may look pretty lit, it isn’t very practical. 

Instead, save your stilettos for the club and put on a pair of cute slides or flip flops. In case this accessory doesn’t pass your vibe check, you can opt for wedges to give you legs for days.

It’s the gentlemen’s turn! Just like the ladies, we know that guys also want to look fresh and fit for summer parties and music festivals in Las Vegas. And while that’s 100% possible, there are a few rules to follow. Let’s get it! 

Swimwear

Steer clear from athletic wear. They may seem similar to swimwear, but TBH, that ain’t it, chief.

Instead of throwing on a pair of gym shorts or joggers, stick with a stylish pair of board shorts that have the ideal length (not too long and not too short). Keep in mind that the security personnel do reserve the right to turn you away if they see you rocking baggy clothing, chains, or translucent swimwear. 

Cover Ups

Before you can hit the pool to flaunt your lit swimwear and vibe to the music of the DJ, you have to walk through the hotel lobby or casino first. And as you already know, that’s no place to be caught wearing board shorts.

Avoid this fashion faux pas by wearing a T-shirt or tank top. Your washboard abs can wait until the pool to be showcased. 

Shoes

If you packed athletic shoes or dress shoes for your club drip, then leave them in your hotel room when you head for the pool. Keep things 💯  by wearing comfy flip-flops or slides. If you’re doing a quick 180 from those rn (why tho?), go for boat shoes. They’re fashionable and easy to kick off when you feel like taking a dip in the pool.
