Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil Show Review

When you decide to have the holiday of a lifetime, you must be thinking of witnessing Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas somewhere in your dream plan, right? Well, if you weren’t, you definitely will be after reading this!

While Zumanity isn’t your typical, family-friendly production by Cirque du Soleil, it is exceptionally sexy and risqué, while providing a bit of humour too. It’s okay to giggle a little when people take their clothes off on stage for your viewing pleasure. By now, it will come as no surprise that this number has an age of limit of 18 years old and above — you can’t have the kids with you here.

The ticket pricing is also the most affordable one when compared to Cirque du Soleil’s other productions situated on the Strip. Seriously, for such a bargain, you really won’t want to be the one missing out!

Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas — What to Expect

If you are easily offended or sit more firmly in the “prude” category of people, then this is definitely not the show for you (we’re sorry, but it has to be said).

You should expect to witness nudity and heavily sexual themes, along with foul language and suggestive sounds. We’ll be honest here — it’s more on the definitive side of suggestive! This R-rated production is bound to have you a little hot under the collar.

Each performer, both the men and the women, adorns bondage-esque outfits, transparent attire and tear-off tuxedos. Some of the actors and actresses even strip down to their birthday suits but, don’t fret, you won’t witness any of their most private parts… if you catch our drift. You won’t see a more pro-sexuality show if you tried and we think that is a fantastic thing!

Like the majority of Cirque du Soleil shows, it is a bit quirky, a lot mesmerizing and contains absolutely no storyline. It makes for very easy watching and fits into the Vegas lifestyle perfectly — who doesn’t want to see a great bod in the evening?!

You will experience a full 90 minutes (one and a half hours) of pure libido-driven acts. They will bring out whips and chains for those of you who partake in the BDSM lifestyle and alongside all of that, you should expect to see a lot of roleplaying and sexy dreams. What else would they include, right?

Don’t worry, it isn’t a constant battle through the high-pressure sexual tension. The writers have been clever with their interspersion of comedy and contortion displays, which we feel does wonders to cut through the buzzing sensual energy (at least for a moment).

Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas — The Theatre

In comparison with Cirque’s usual Vegas shows, the theatre this one is held in is rather small. However, for the sensual nature of this production, the intimate environment works incredibly well.

The performers don’t actually need a lot of ground space for their sexy stunts, as most of them happen while they are in the air. The beautiful men and women on stage will be clinging on to flying hoops, wrapped up in suspended cloth and even throw each other around like they weigh no more than a feather! Hence why the vertical area is far more important to them.

You can find tickets for this production at this lust-filled venue for Saturday’s at 7 pm and 9:30 pm — depends just on how much time you want when you get into bed before you loved one decides it’s lights out!

Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas — Our Takeaway

If you and your partner have a free night, Zumanity is a fantastic way to spend it. You won’t be sat on the edge of your seat in starstruck wonder like with the other Cirque productions, however, you will be fully engaged by the amount of skin and still downright amazing tricks from the actors/actresses.

Bear in mind that, if you sit in the front row, you will most likely be subjected to some audience participation. If this would make you or your loved one uncomfortable, our advice is to sit further back.

It is a truly saucy experience that should not be missed — people will be talking about it, make sure you can join in the conversation!
